Day 3: People Make People (Organizations Edition)

As I reflect on the events of the day, the word ‘collaboration’ comes to mind. We visited the office of the U.S.-India Educational Foundation (USIEF). This organization has worked with the U.S. Department of State and other relevant organizations to implement teacher exchange programs between the U.S. and India. 

We also chatted with Dan from the U.S. consulate who shared some safety awareness tips. The highlights are: people will stare, avoid the dogs (dogs are a constant presence on the streets of Delhi), be kind to yourself and avoid the street food, and don’t engage the monkeys!
